The Lynny is a brand new lens product that orginated from a DIY kickstarter project and has now graduated into a commercial product.
But what’s so special about the Lynny, well it’s…squishy. It has a soft flexible interior that allows you to tilt and squish the lens to control DOF, control blur and focus. The lens is entirely manual so you just move it around until you get the desired effect.
Although this may lead to some accuracy issues, and the technical details about the aperture for example are a little loose, the $75 price tag is hard to argue with! It will mount onto any camera type with an adapter, and also has wide angle, macro and telephoto add on options.
