RSL ANZAC Art Awards

Opening in NSW, Australia today are the RSL ANZAC Art Awards 2012 for school children of all ages.

For the first time ever the RSL ANZAC Art Awards are going digital! All NSW school children are invited to take part in the colouring and art competition, with cash prizes for all the category winners and the opportunity for your art to be included in a major exhibition!

Students from year 1 to year 6 can select a special ANZAC stencil to colour in and submit. Students from year 7 to year 12 are invited to create original artworks on the theme of ‘The Poppy’.

For one lucky year 12 student there is an extra prize available the NSW Premiers Kokoda prize is awarded to the highest scoring artwork of any year 12 student entered who will also be able to take their nominated teacher with them on the Kodoka Track the following year.

The five highest scoring entries from any one school will be awarded the ANZAC ART trophy.
