The ‘Meet Your Neighbours’ photography project encourages you to take and share images of your local wildlife.
The movements organiser, photographer Clay Bolt explains “There’s a lot of emphasis on protecting beautiful mega fauna in distant places, I feel like there’s such a need right now for conservation messages to be spread into the community. If people can go outside and see these things with their own eyes and interact with [them], they’re more likely to care.”
Participants capture their portraits in nature, using a field studio technique, giving all the images a unified feel that highlights the personality of the subjects.
To get involved check out the field technique tutorial and submit your images in Meet your Neighbours.
