Opening for entries on May 1st 2015 is the first annual Experiential Photography of the Year awards. A new photography competition to recognise travel-focused experiential photographers for the first time, with over $9,000 in prizes up for grabs.

Aside from the public recognition and kudos of being the first ever Experiential Photographer of the Year; the overall winner as judged by a team of professionals, including photographer Nick Rains, will receive a place on an Experiential Travel Safari with globally recognised photographer, Neville Jones, in Botswana’s Okavango Delta this August – a prize worth $8,900. There will also be two People’s Choice awards, a place on the Leica Academie In Focus Workshop each worth $299.
