The Australian Photography + Digital Magazine has announced the winner of it’s Photographer of the Year competition as Mihai Florea.
The Melbourne-based photographer won over $8k in prizes for their series ‘Abstract Melbourne’, a striking series of black and white landscapes that draw their inspiration from the cities architecture.
“There were some great images on your website, so I really didn’t expect this,” said a delighted Florea. “It is the greatest honour ever bestowed upon me as a photographer. A sincere thank you to the judges, sponsors and especially to Australian Photography + digital magazine for organising this competition.”
