Every year Magnum photos gives a young photographer the opportunity to have their work seen and reviewed by their team. They have returned this year and the current theme to submit on, ‘Family Portrait’.

“Would you like to have your photographs reviewed by a Magnum photographer? And then have them viewed by the thousands of visitors to this here website – as well as by senior members of the Magnum team? How about some personal feedback and career advice from a Magnum photographer on top of all that?

Continuing Magnum’s commitment to emerging photographers, the Magnum Showcase briefs are an opportunity for IdeasTap members to have a recent body of work reviewed by a Magnum photographer or senior staff member, showcased on IdeasTap’s website and followed up by some feedback and advice from the judge on the development of your work.

All you need to do is upload a strong, concise edit of 10 to 20 images on the family portrait theme to the IdeasTap site, along with 100 words explaining your project.”
