As you may have realised by now we are big nerds for photography from space, we were impressed by Guy Laliberté’s recent shots from the space station. However they can’t compete with NASA’s latest release.
The Curiosity Rover currently cruising the surface of Mars has sent back a panoramic self portrait of itself in Mars’ Gale Crater.
If you are wondering how this shot was taken, the rover used a robotic arm that was able to move out of frame by taking multiple shots stitched together.
