Our favourite pick of the projects going viral this week is the beautifully surreal work of Dutch photographer Alex Timmermans, created using a 160 year old technique.

Timmermans works with an all but extinct photography using wet plates collodion photography, a painstaking exposure process generally takes around an hour to create.
